2020 was a challenging year for all Australians and the people of Melbourne have had it especially tough.
Amazon Australia is looking to give Melbournians a little piece of kindness, to help them kickstart 2021 with a smile on their face.
This summer, for Random Acts of Kindness Day (17 February), Australian Amazon Prime members can nominate a friend, partner, family member, neighbour, or colleague in Melbourne to receive a very special Amazon Prime package personally chosen by them, worth up to $1,000.
Aussie comedian and presenter Joel Creasey who featured in Amazon Prime Original, LOL: Last One Laughing AU and his own comedy special Fame Whore, will deliver the Amazon Prime packages (and Act of Kindness) to five unsuspecting Aussies who were nominated to receive the gift as part of the competition. Joel delivered smiles to your living room with the release of LOL: AU, and now he is delivering smiles to our door as part of Random Acts of Kindness Day.
“After the year we’ve had, a random act of kindness is exactly what we need! I’m excited to help bring a smile and deliver some special gifts from Amazon Australia to five deserving Melbournians on behalf of Amazon Prime. Last year was no doubt an especially difficult time for the city,” said Joel Creasey.
From tech gadgets, to an incredible range of homewares, camping equipment, beauty products, and more, Aussie Amazon Prime members will be spoilt for choice to surprise a special someone in their life from Melbourne.
