Its Grand Final time! The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup champions of 2024 will be crowned in Barbados in the Grand Final, with India taking on South Africa on Sunday, 30 June at 12:30AM AEST,
On Thursday 27 June, in a rain affected affair, the men in blue put on a dominant performance to take the victory over their English rivals, winning by 68 runs and progressing through to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final against South Africa.
Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav put on a clinic with the bat before the spinners took over to scuttle the England chase. Despite their best efforts, England lost its way early in the chase with no Englishman making it to 20 balls.
Whilst the unbeaten India has secured a spot in the upcoming final, unfortunately for the Joss Butler led team, England now ends their T20 World Cup campaign.
