World-class drama The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart has secured 4 nominations including Best Miniseries or Telemovie. Sigourney Weaver is nominated for TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Lead Actress in a Drama, Leah Purcell is nominated for TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Supporting Actress and Alyla Browne is up for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is Prime Video Australia’s most successful original to date, and reached the Top 5 in 78 countries on its opening weekend in August last year.
Global hit Deadloch has 3 nominations including Best Scripted Comedy Program. Lead cast Kate Box and Madeleine Sami are both nominated for TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Lead Actress in a Comedy. Deadloch has cultivated a legion of fans in Australia and around the world and reached the Top Ten (TV Shows) in more than 165 countries on Prime Video since launching in June 2023.
Australian icons The Wiggles are celebrated with a nomination for Best Factual or Documentary Program for Hot Potato: The Story of The Wiggles. Undoubtedly the most successful children’s act of all time, the documentary charts The Wiggles’ evolution and enduring success and cultural impact spanning more than 30 years.
The 64th TV WEEK Logie Awards will be held in Sydney on Sunday 18 August. This year the public can vote on more categories than ever before. Voting is open now for all awards and remains open until 7pm AEST Saturday 17 August, except for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter and Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent, which will close 7:30pm AEST Sunday 18 August 2024. Voting for the coveted TV WEEK Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television will close Sunday 18 August at 10:30pm AEST.
