How to send a Gift Card on Amazon Australia
- Log into your Amazon Australia account at Amazon.com.au. If you don’t have an account, create one first.
- Click on Gift Cards in the Programs & Features section within the drop-down menu on the upper-left corner of Amazon.com.au to access gift card options.
- Choose an occasion from the Most Popular Occasion section, or scroll down to the Most Gifted section to see a collection of the most popular gift cards.
- Next, choose a design for your gift card, depending on the occasion. You can even upload your own photo or video to feature in the card.
Enter the details for your gift card:
i. The amount, in the Amount field. The minimum card value is $1, while the maximum is $2,000.
ii. Whether you want it sent via Email or Text Message in the Delivery field.
iii. The recipient's email address in the To field. You can add up to 200 recipients at once by pasting their email addresses in the field, separated by commas. Don’t forget to review all addresses carefully to make sure they're correct!
iv. Your name in the From field.
v. A message for your recipient in the Message field (optional). You can type up to a maximum of 500 characters.
vi. The quantity of gift cards you want to purchase for each recipient in the Quantity field. You can order up to 200.
vii. Lastly, add the delivery date in the Delivery Date field. You can pick a delivery date up to a year from the current date.
- If you've chosen Add to Cart, review your cart purchases.
- Make sure everything is correct, then click Proceed to Checkout.
- Fill in your payment details. You can use your Amazon Account balance or pay with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
- After completing all the necessary fields, click Place Your Order to finalise it.
Note that Gift Cards are only valid for buying eligible goods and services on Amazon.com.au and can’t be used for Amazon websites outside Australia.
