Amazon Australia kicked off their earliest ever Black Friday Sale running for 14 days from Tuesday 19 December until Tuesday, 3 December. The sales event was the biggest ever in Amazon Australia history, with a record number of items sold, and customers saving millions of dollars.
The 2024 Amazon Black Friday Sale event was the biggest ever for Aussie Small Business sellers, who saw greater purchases than any other Amazon.com.au sale event to-date.
Country Manager at Amazon Australia Janet Menzies said starting the sales earlier this year was about delivering extra value to shoppers at one of the most expensive times of the year. “Black Friday is all about delivering value to our customers, and this year we’ve been thrilled to offer Aussies opportunities to save even earlier with two full weeks of discounts.”
“Whether it’s sorting presents for under the tree or stocking up on essentials ahead of a house full of guests, our customers have saved millions of dollars during our two week Black Friday Sale. We hope that this has taken some of the stress out of the holiday season, and helped budgets go further.”
